Many of our activities take place in the Luis Cernuda Hall at Instituto Cervantes London. The maximum capacity is 70 people, and it is located in the basement of our premises. Activities are usually free unless stated otherwise. Since our aim is to promote Hispanic cultures locally, many of our activities are in English for those who do not yet speak Spanish. We will specify which language an activity will be in and whether simultaneous translation will be available or not. By default, you will need to book your place to attend since we check the list of attendees for each activity. If you are unable to attend an activity, please cancel your booking online (normally via our Eventbrite page) as there is usually a waiting list due to limited capacity.
We look forward to welcoming you!
All things culture at Instituto Cervantes London
Hispanic cultures
Instituto Cervantes is a public organisation created by the Spanish government in 1991 to promote and foster the teaching of the language and the cultural offering of Spanish-speaking countries globally.
Instituto Cervantes London offers a wide range of cultural activities that bring together the best of Spanish and Latin American literature, cinema, performing and visual arts, and thought.
Instituto Cervantes London fosters cultural cooperation by organising and collaborating on activities that showcase historic and contemporary arts from the Spanish-speaking world. We work closely with an extensive network of British, Spanish and Latin American institutions and in association with other European cultural institutes.
