What is SACIC?
The Cervantes Institute Accreditation System for Centers (SACIC) is the only international accreditation for centers teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Accredited Cervantes Institute centers enjoy international recognition and benefit from the global promotion and visibility of their Spanish language course offerings.
In addition to being a mark of quality, SACIC provides a framework for reflection on the accredited center’s activities, supporting its commitment to service quality and continuous improvement.
The Cervantes Institute Accreditation System for Centers (SACIC) is an evaluation and certification process for centers teaching Spanish as a foreign language, a leading international framework designed to support the development of their academic and organizational management processes and to improve the student experience.
SACIC provides a flexible framework of tools for the evaluation and accreditation of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) centers, addressing the following aspects:
- Organization and operation of the center
- Teaching and learning services
- Complementary services to teaching
- Facilities
- Teaching and learning resources
- Information and promotion of the center and its services
Being recognized as a “Cervantes Institute Accredited Center” provides accredited centers with:
