Ibero-American Voices of Poetry

"Poetry has always been an expression of a complex imagination, often accompanied by new syntactic trends, imagery and many other forms."
- Subhro Bandopadhyay, curator

The annual poetry festival “Ibero-American Voices of Poetry” curated by the Bengali poet Subhro Bandopadhyay, is an initiative launched in 2019 by Instituto Cervantes in New Delhi, with the support of Ibero-American embassies such as those of Mexico and the Dominican Republic in certain editions. This is a program through which we aim to showcase in India the diversity of languages and poetic traditions of Spain and Latin America, as well as to foster dialogue and exchange with local poets.

MANORAMA HORTUS festival

This year, the poets will also be taking part in the Manorama Hortus literary festival in Kerala, a key event on the literary and artistic scene in southern India, attended by poets, writers and artists of different nationalities and speaking different languages.
