Training to Become a Spanish Teacher
t Instituto Cervantes Dublin, we offer Spanish teachers at all levels the opportunity to update and develop their professional skills on a regular basis. These training courses focus on refreshing and expanding teaching, methodological and linguistic knowledge. Future Spanish teachers can also take these courses as preparation for their professional careers.
We offer a basic teacher training course every year, as well as specific courses for primary school teachers in Ireland through the PPLI programme.
Descuentos
Porque nos importan nuestros estudiantes, siempre tratamos de ofrecer el mejor servicio al menor precio.
- Cualquier persona que se matricule en uno de nuestros cursos con una antelación de al menos 3 semanas antes del comienzo del trimestre podrá beneficiarse de un 5 % de descuento.
- También, los estudiantes que ya hayan realizado un curso en el mismo año académico o anterior podrán disfrutar de un descuento del 10 % cuando se vuelven a matricular.
Todos estos descuentos son acumulables hasta un máximo de 25%. Es responsabilidad de cada alumno solicitar los descuentos a la hora de realizar la matrícula. Una vez procesada la matrícula no podrá aplicarse ningún tipo de descuento.

Funded Spanish Courses for Primary School Teachers in Ireland (PPLI)
Instituto Cervantes Dublin is pleased to offer fully funded Spanish language upskilling courses for registered primary school teachers in Ireland, as part of the Language Upskilling Scheme funded by Ireland’s Department of Education and Youth and managed by PPLI / Languages Connect.
These courses support the introduction of modern foreign languages in Irish primary schools within the new Primary Language Curriculum, giving teachers the linguistic confidence and practical skills they need to use Spanish effectively in the classroom.
DELE Examiner Accreditation Courses
These courses are aimed at Spanish teachers who hold a university degree, have experience and training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), and have a C2 level of Spanish, and who wish to take on new responsibilities in their professional work. To take the course, applicants must meet the profile described above.
The accreditation courses are designed by the Accreditation and Certification Department of Instituto Cervantes and may be organised exclusively by Instituto Cervantes centres abroad and by the Academic Department in Spain.
Permanent Research Seminar on Heritage Languages
This permanent seminar is a joint initiative of Dublin City University and Instituto Cervantes Dublin, created to provide a stable forum for academic exchange dedicated to the study of heritage languages, with particular attention to Spanish in migratory and diasporic contexts.
The seminar aims to bring together researchers, teachers, postgraduate students and professionals interested in the acquisition, teaching, maintenance and development of heritage languages in educational, social and family contexts.
