DADIC Diplomas

The Instituto Cervantes Teaching Accreditation Diplomas (DADIC) have indefinite validity and are widely recognised both nationally and internationally. They are also supported by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

There are three Instituto Cervantes DADIC diplomas:

• DADIC Autónomo. Certifies that the holder has the basic competences required to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) for general purposes.

• DADIC Experto. Certifies that the holder can teach effectively in a range of ELE teaching and learning contexts and participate actively in the institution where they work.

• DADIC Formador. Certifies that the holder can plan, develop, analyse and adapt training activities aimed at the professional development of current or future ELE teachers.

Instituto Cervantes Dublin does not currently administer the examinations required to obtain the DADIC, but you can obtain the accreditation at other Instituto Cervantes centres.
