TYPES OF TRAINING ACTIVITIES

Every year, more than 16,000 teachers of Spanish and other languages from around the world choose the Instituto Cervantes to begin or advance their training in teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language.

Its innovative methodology—inductive and action-oriented—enhances the development of teaching competence (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) and fosters the collaborative construction of knowledge through reflection and the exchange of experiences among participants.

Throughout the academic year, the Instituto Cervantes in New Delhi offers various training activities designed for those interested in launching a career as professionals in teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language, or in further developing their skills as teachers in this field.

The initial training course is an in-person program offered several times a year in both intensive and extensive formats.

Continuous Training Seminar

We offer a continuous professional development program consisting of presentations and short workshops on various topics related to foreign language teaching and learning.
