GENERAL SPANISH COURSES

The Instituto Cervantes offers general Spanish courses—both online and in-person—designed to develop students' ability to understand, speak, read, and write in Spanish.

Regardless of the format, our teaching approach places the student at the center of the learning process. Through a variety of activities and group dynamics, students play an active role, immersing themselves in the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries from day one.

Our teaching staff—comprising both native and non-native speakers—specializes in the latest techniques for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. All instructors regularly undergo the training and professional development necessary to ensure high-quality instruction.

We offer courses at all levels (from beginner to advanced), and our communicative method enables students to improve their skills progressively.

These general courses consist of 60 hours of instruction, with various intensity options available—ranging from 5 to 10 weeks in duration. They are organized into six levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2) in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

We also offer specialized courses for children and adolescents.
