CervantesKids
Instituto Cervantes is a nonprofit organization established by the Government of Spain in 1991. Our mission is to promote the teaching of the Spanish language—including Spain's co-official languages—and to foster the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
We offer comprehensive Spanish language courses designed to help students develop their ability to understand, speak, read, and write in Spanish. All of our native-speaking instructors are highly qualified and use the latest teaching methodologies. Classes are conducted in Spanish from day one at every level, enabling students to begin communicating in Spanish from the very start of their learning journey.

Why Is It Important for Children to Learn Spanish?
-
Children have a natural ability to learn a foreign language with ease.
-
It has been scientifically proven that children who learn a second language at an early age develop skills that contribute to success in both their academic and, later, professional lives.
-
Spanish has become the second most important international language in business and the third most widely used language on the internet. The importance of Spanish in the United States continues to grow exponentially
-
Speaking Spanish provides students with essential preparation for future challenges, such as college admission and entering the job market in an increasingly globalized economy.
Why Choose Instituto Cervantes?
Instituto Cervantes is the world's largest Spanish language teaching organization, established by the Government of Spain. Its mission is to promote the Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world in the United States and around the globe.
Our highly qualified native-speaking teachers from Spain and Latin America hold degrees in Spanish language and literature (Master's or Ph.D.) and have extensive experience in early childhood education. At CervantesKids, your children will learn Spanish through engaging and enriching programs, supported by an extensive library and fun cultural activities.
We are conveniently located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, at the corner of Ohio Street and Dearborn Street. Discounted parking is available in the same building.
