SIELE is the International Spanish Language Assessment Service, a system for assessing and certifying Spanish language proficiency through electronic means, designed for students and professionals across the five continents.
It is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the University of Salamanca (USAL), and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). This partnership guarantees high standards of quality and best practices in test development, as well as the incorporation of different linguistic varieties from across the Spanish-speaking world.
