WHAT IS DELE

Official Spanish qualification

The DELE (Diplomas of Spanish) are official qualifications that certify your proficiency and command of Spanish. Awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of Spain’s Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, they provide the perfect way to demonstrate your skills in the language.

What makes DELE special?

The Instituto Cervantes manages all aspects of the DELE: from academic and administrative matters to financial ones. All under the regulations of Royal Decrees 1137/2002, 264/2008 and 1004/2015.

Level image
C2
Superior
The Diploma of Spanish Level C2 certifies the user’s ability to:
  • Be able to operate effectively in any situation requiring the understanding of virtually everything heard or read, regardless of the length of the texts, their complexity or degree of abstraction, the level of familiarity with the topics addressed, the variety of language used, or the need to make inferences or perform other interpretative operations in order to understand their content.
  • Express themselves spontaneously with a very high degree of fluency and exceptional semantic and grammatical precision, enabling them to distinguish subtle shades of meaning even in highly specialised and complex academic and professional contexts.
