Instituto Cervantes Certifications in melbourne
Among the lines of work within the academic sphere of the Instituto Cervantes, assessment activities and their administrative dimension—certification—stand out for their significance in teaching and learning processes, as well as in teacher training.
What are the differences between DELE and SIELE?
The DELE Spanish diplomas and the International Spanish Language Evaluation Service (SIELE) are two complementary services within the range of examinations offered by the Instituto Cervantes to meet the different needs of a variety of users. Both have international recognition and are endorsed by highly prestigious institutions that guarantee their quality standards and best practices.
-
Get ready for your DELE examThe Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications that certify the level of proficiency and command of Spanish. Spain’s Ministry of Education and Vocational Training awards them, and the Instituto Cervantes administers them. DELE examinations assess different language skills and are available at six levels, from A1 to C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). DELE diplomas are valid for life and are internationally recognised by educational institutions, employers, and public organisations.
-
Certify your level of SpanishThe International Spanish Language Evaluation Service (SIELE) is a digital certification that assesses Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals. Unlike DELE, SIELE evaluates and certifies overall Spanish proficiency on a CEFR-aligned scale from A1 to C1. Its main advantages include flexible testing options, fast results delivery, and international recognition by universities, companies, and institutions worldwide.
DADIC Diplomas
The Teaching Accreditation Diplomas of the Instituto Cervantes (DADIC) are valid indefinitely and enjoy wide recognition both nationally and internationally; they are also supported by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
Instituto Cervantes in Sydney offers Autonomous DADIC, which certifies that the holder has the basic competences required for professional practice in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) for general purposes.
