DADIC Autónomo

What is DADIC Autónomo?

DADIC Autónomo is a diploma that certifies that teachers have the basic competences required to work professionally in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) for general purposes. The diploma is obtained through an examination consisting of two components:

  • Teaching a one-hour face-to-face class to a group of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) students.
  • Taking part in an interview with two examiners to critically analyse the lesson taught.

Who should take it?

DADIC Autónomo is aimed at teachers who wish to obtain a teaching qualification in Spanish as a foreign language and who have sufficient basic training and experience to teach a Spanish class to a group of students and critically analyse their own performance.
