Instituto Cervantes offers general courses in Spanish, both online and face-to-face, designed to develop students’ ability to understand, speak, read, and write in Spanish.

We have experienced, qualified teachers who use the most up-to-date methods in foreign language teaching. In addition, to ensure effective learning, all our teachers engage in continuous professional development.

At Instituto Cervantes Kuala Lumpur, we offer regular courses at almost all levels (from A1.1 to B2) and we are open to offering higher-level courses whenever there is sufficient demand. Furthermore, our communicative approach enables students to gradually improve their language skills.

General courses consist of 30 hours and are held once or twice a week. Online courses are generally taught twice a week, with each class lasting 1.5 hours, usually in the afternoon (from 5:30 p.m. onwards). Face-to-face courses are held once a week for three consecutive hours, with a short break included. The levels offered are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

From October 2026, we will also begin offering specialised courses for children and teenagers.
