Levels

Our Spanish courses are offered across six proficiency levels, from A1 to C2, divided into 30-hour modules. These levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The CEFR provides a common basis for describing language proficiency, promoting greater consistency and transparency in foreign language learning across Europe. It facilitates learner mobility, supports the mutual recognition of language qualifications, and encourages cooperation between educational institutions in different countries. The CEFR defines proficiency levels that describe learners' communicative competence, productive and receptive language skills, and their ability to use the language effectively for a range of specific purposes.

To enrol in A1.1 courses, no previous knowledge of Spanish is required. For all other levels, students must either be returning students or take a placement test to determine their appropriate level.
