III Simposio de Estudios Hispánicos en Nueva Zelanda (NZUHS 2026)
La Massey University (Wellington) acogerá los días 27 y 28 de noviembre de 2026 el III Simposio de Estudios Hispánicos en Nueva Zelanda, un encuentro académico que reúne a especialistas e investigadores para intercambiar conocimientos y experiencias en el ámbito de los estudios hispánicos.
Interest in studying Spanish continues to grow steadily in New Zealand. There are now seven universities in the country that teach Spanish, and our language has become the second most widely studied foreign language there, ahead of French, Italian and German.
At this gathering of Hispanic studies scholars, which will include the participation and support of the Instituto Cervantes and the Education Office for Australia, New Zealand, India and Southeast Asia, and which will be hosted by Massey University in Wellington, these and other topics of interest will be examined with the aim of strengthening and promoting the teaching of Spanish in New Zealand.
