Sponsorship and Collaboration
Contributions through sponsorship and patronage, whether financial or in-kind, play an important role in supporting the institution’s work and advancing the promotion and dissemination of the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. They also help strengthen the financial sustainability of Instituto Cervantes and its centers worldwide.
Instituto Cervantes works closely with public and private organizations, both in Spain and internationally, as reflected in the more than 570 active partnership agreements in 2021.
To shape our vision for the future, Instituto Cervantes firmly believes in the value of collaboration between the public and private sectors. We invite companies to work with us, whether through long-term partnerships or specific projects, to expand the reach and impact of our work and help promote a dynamic, modern, and united image of Spain abroad.
Across our network of centers, more than 110 international and local organizations, along with individual donors, have supported Instituto Cervantes in advancing its mission. Their involvement highlights the importance of building a strong, comprehensive patronage program across the institution.
Instituto Cervantes is deeply grateful to the organizations and individuals who recognize the value of the Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and whose support and commitment are essential to achieving our goals.
Instituto Cervantes is among the institutions, foundations, universities, and public research organizations eligible to receive private-sector contributions to support activities that serve the public interest.
